I have to say that these glasses are a perfect camping companion! No litter, no breaking, and they can handle anything at the campsite. The one thing that would go along perfect with the silipint would be a travel water purifier like the Bo Berkey Kit or Sport Bottle!

Sleeping pads are a must. You can definitely feel a difference when you shift off the pad during the night. A beginner camper would then start to understand that the pad not only provides a comfort for a better night sleep but also provides insulation for additional warmth which adds to your sleeping bag. Enjoyed the post.

Nice video on how to make a fire. Building a fire pit surrounded by rocks will ensure your fire doesn't get out of hand and when the log cabin begins to fall apart after burning the fire is contained. I always found that your fire should not out grow your fire pit to ensure safety.

Nice post. Gathering enough firewood before you start a fire is very important. Glad you made that point. From experience it's always the least favorite thing to do but is well worth your time so you spend more time enjoying the fire and relaxing.
