First Lady Visits Zion National Park

Laura Bush was at the Zion National Park in Utah last week. The first lady has a tradition of vacationing in one of the country's national parks each year with some of her childhood friends? But this time, she had another reason. She was there to dedicate the Zion Nature Center, a facility dedicated to the National Park Service's Junior Ranger Program. The program is a great opportunity for children to learn about the ecology, wildlife and rich history of our national parks.
I hope the Junior Ranger program is a success and is extended to many more National Parks.
